ICExpress Cargo PH (“ICExpress,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a brand operated by ITSLOGIC Freight Inc., a company registered in the Philippines. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you message us on Facebook Messenger, request a shipping estimate or quotation, or book a shipment with us, in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

Your name, profile picture, and Facebook Messenger identifier, when you message our Page.
The content of your messages to us, so we (or our AI assistant) can respond.
Shipment details you provide: origin and destination, weight and dimensions, commodity type, box count, and whether supporting documents (e.g. NMIS, BFAR certificates) are available.
Booking details: shipper and consignee names, phone numbers, and addresses, and cargo/delivery photos.
Your stated payment method (e.g. GCash, bank transfer) for our internal records.

We collect the minimum information needed to provide our services, and we do not request information we don't need.

2. How We Use Your Information

To answer your questions and provide shipping estimates and quotations.
To process your bookings and shipments, and provide status/tracking updates.
To send you Messenger notifications you'd expect, such as airline cutoff reminders and delivery status updates.
To maintain accurate records for customer service and regulatory purposes.

3. Our AI Assistant

We use an AI assistant (built on Anthropic's Claude) to help answer common questions and generate instant shipping estimates from our official rate tables. The AI never invents a price — every figure it gives you comes directly from our pricing system. A human team member can take over any conversation at any time, and you can ask to speak with a human whenever you'd like.

4. Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate:

Meta Platforms, Inc. — the Messenger Platform itself, as the messaging channel.
Our database and application hosting providers, to store and run our systems securely.
Anthropic — to process messages through our AI assistant.

We may also disclose information where required by Philippine law or by request of a competent government authority.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations (for example, shipment and customs records). You may ask us to delete information that we're not legally required to keep — see Section 7.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls limiting staff access to what their role requires, and strict separation of data between different business accounts on our platform.

7. Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

Be informed that your personal information will be, is being, or was processed.
Access a copy of the information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Object to or request the deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligations.
Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
